Indulge in tender calamari braised in a rich, aromatic tomato sauce infused with Mediterranean flavors. The combination of garlic, olive oil, and fresh herbs brings out the best in the calamari stew, while its melt-in-your-mouth texture. Alongside, crisp, golden-fried calamari, light and crunchy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside. A perfect balance of succulent braised seafood and crunchy, fried perfection. In this workshop, we will be learning about the versatility of calamari preparation. During this session you’ll learn how to: · Clean and prepare calamari to restaurant quality · Marinade squid to be used for quick cooking methods such as grilling and frying · Flavour pairings to liven up your calamari stew · Correctly season and fry calamari to achieve a beautiful crust · Apply kitchen professionalism: timing, cleanliness and organisation · Perform fundamental cooking techniques Regardless of what we’re cooking, you don’t have to worry about a thing as we’ll provide all the recipes, tools and ingredients you need for the session. All we ask is that you turn up on time so we can all get started together! After we’re done? we will pour the wine while you get to enjoy the fruits of your labour or take it home to share with your loved ones.
